Minimum dwellings
The thesis for the architecture degree at IUAV was a solution how to organize
self-help architecture, but also encourage it and at the same time limit it.
About the project
2005
The risult of the study was a group of minimal dwellings that invites the inhabitants to expand their home with self-help architecture, using many terraces and porticos that are like holes to be filled. The structure helps doing it with the easiest technology and the modular design of the dwellings make order on it, showing the superfetation but organizing it armonically.
